Applications are invited for the following vacant posts of in the Uttarakhand Forest Hospital Trust Medical College and Dr. S.T.M. Forest Hospital at Haldwani, Uttarakhand.

(A) Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/Lecturer

Professor : 03 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.16400-20000 on regular appointment and Rs.95000+Rs.5000 increase per year + allowance on contract basis, Age : 50 years for regular appointment and 64 years on contract basis
Associate Professor : 04 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.14300-18300 on regular appointment and Rs.75000+Rs.5000 increase per year + allowance on contract basis, Age : 45 years for regular appointment and 64 years on contract basis
Assistant Professor : 39 posts (UR-10, SC-15, ST-1, OBC-13), Pay Scale : Rs.11625-15200 on regular appointment. Those who are interested in contract basis may also apply., Age : 40 years for regular appointment.

Qualifications: -(i) For Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor: - As prescribed in the Minimum Qualification for Teachers in Medical Institution Regulations 1998 by Medical Council of India. The M.S./M.D degree must be recognized by Medical Council of India and candidate must be registered with Medical Council of India/State Medical Council, without which the candidate shall not be eligible for the Interview.

Note: - 1. Associate Professor (s) having higher experience may be considered for the post of Professor subject to fulfillment of qualification & experience as per MCI Regulations, 1998.

Emoluments

On Regular Basis:
(i) Professor: Rs. 16400-450-20000.
(ii) Associate Professor: Rs. 14300-400-18300.
(iii) Assistant Professor: Rs. 11625-15200.

Pay Scale likely to be revised as per VI th Pay Commission

On Contractual Basis:(i) Professor: - Rs. 95000/- p.m. with annual increase of Rs. 5000/-. Other Allowances as per Trust rules.

(ii) Associate Professor Rs. 75000 p.m. with annual increase of Rs. 5000/- Other Allowance as per Trust rules.

Note:- Assistant Professor(s) interested in joining on contractual basis can also apply.

Age: As on 01/01/2009 below 64 yrs. for Contractual Appointment in the post(s) of Professor & Associate Professor

For Regular Appointment:-(i) Professor:- As 01-01-2009 below 50 yrs.,
(ii) Associate Professor: - As on 01-01-2009 below 45 yrs.
(iii) Assistant Professor: - As on 01-01-2009 below 40 yrs.

(B) Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Chemistry - 01 (UR)

Qualification: - M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry

Age- Below 35 yrs as on 01-01-2009

Payscale- Rs. 8,000-275-13,500/- (Likely to be revised as perVI th Pay Commission)

(C) Casualty Medical Officer: - 02 (UR), 02(SC), 01(OBC)

Qualification :- MBBS with 5 yrs. experience as Medical Officer/ Senior Resident/ Junior Resident/ Tutor/Pool Officer/Demonstrator/Registrar/Consultant in any clinical subject in a Medical College recognised by M.C.I. & Govt. Hospital / Govt.Undertaking Hospital.

Desirable:- P.G. Degree Diploma in Clinical Subject.

Age- Below 40 yrs as on 01-01-2009

Payscale- Rs. 8,000-275-13,500/- (Likely to be revised as perVI th Pay Commission)
