WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR THE POST OF SENIOR RESIDENT Walk-in-interview for appointment on the post of Senior Resident in the following departments of Institute has been fixed on 09-08-2011 from 11-00 AM, in the office chamber of Director, IGIMS, Patna. Indian citizen who are eligible and qualified for these posts are requested to participate with an application on prescribed performa along-with all requisite certificates in original and passport size current photograph :

01. Urology: 03- SC-01, MBC (BC-I) -01, & U/R-01
02. Neuro Medicine: 01 - SC-01
03. Neuro-Surgery: 04 - MBC (BC-I) -01, SC-01 & U/R-02
04. Anaesthesia: 03-MBC (BC-I) -01, U/R-01 & SC-01
05. Radiology: 05- U/R-03, SC-01 & BC (BC-II) -01
06. Community Medicine: 02- U/R-01 & SC-01
07. Cardiology: 03- SC-01,MBC (BC-I) -01 & U/R-01
08. General Medicine: 02- BC- (BC-II)-01 & MBC (BC-I) -01
09. General Surgery: 02- SC-01, & BC-Female (BC-II:)-01
10. Paediatric Surgery: 04- U/R-01, SC-01, BC( BC-II) -01 & MBC(BC-I) -01
11. Orthopaedic: 01- SC-01
12. Oncology: 01- SC-01
13. Biochemistry: 03- MBC-01 (BC-I), U/R-01 & SC-01

Pay Scale: Senior Resident: Rs. 35025/- during 1st year, Rs. 35888/- 2nd year and Rs.36763/- 3rd year inclusive of NPA plus usual allowances as admissible for Senior Residents in this Institute. Approx Total Emolument comes as on today: Rs.53300/- during 1st year, Rs.54558/- 2nd year and Rs.55826/- 3rd year. Upper Age Limit: 35 Years as on: 31-07-2011 (Relaxation as per State Govt. Rule, i.e., 5 years for SC/ST, 03 Years of MBC/OBC and 03 years for all categories of Female candidate). Essential Qualification & Experience for Senior Resident:
1. A Medical qualification as included in schedule I & II of MCI Act.
2. Recognized P.G. qualification of MD/MS in specialization concerned or allied Surgical/Medical speciality.
3. The candidate must be registered with Central/State Medical Council.
