Job details:
To write code for .NET framework and Oracle/SQL Server for software designed for Election Commission of India.

Period: 6 Months.
Age limit: 32 years

Minimum qualification & Experience: BCA or equivalent or MSc with PG Diploma in computer science from a recognized University/ Institution with 3 years experience in the relevant field.

The Election Commission of India has decided to strengthen its IT setup. The services of six Computer Programmers would be taken on contract basis through an walk-in-interview to be conducted on 19th February, 2009 at NP Girls Senior Secondary School, Gole Market, New Delhi (Near RML Hospital). The eligibility conditions are laid down in the Employment Notice issued by the Election Commission of India. Interested candidates should report for registration positively between 2.00 PM to 2.30 PM on the same day.

Mode of Selection: There shall be a walk-in interview on the date, time and venue stated below. Candidates should come to the walk-in interview with an application on plain paper and all original certificates along with photocopies. Candidates arriving late shall not be considered. Scrutiny of applications along with verification of photocopies with originals shall be done first. Candidates should not leave their original certificates. Those candidates who fulfil the minimum qualification shall be subjected to a written test for 60 minutes on programming skills on the basis of which, 18 candidates shall be shortlisted. The shortlisted candidates shall be given a small project to write a program for within 60 minutes. On the basis of performance in this practical test, 12 candidates shall be shortlisted for interview. The final list shall be made on the basis of the performance in the interview.
