Job Description The Indian School of Mines, established in 1926, which offers B.Tech in Computer Science & Engg, Electrical, Electronics, Environmental, Mechanical, Mineral, Mining, Mining Machinery and Petroleum Engineering, and M.Tech, MSc, MSc Tech, MPhil, MBA and Ph.D programs in the areas of Engineering, Earth Sciences, Basic & Applied Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences and Management Studies, invites application from Indian nationals belonging to SC, ST, OBC & PH categories for the following positions.

ISM invites application from Indian nationals belonging to SC, ST, OBC & PH categories for the post of Asst. Professor.

Professor:
Ph.D with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum 13 years experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor/ Principal Scientific Officer/Chief Design Engineer/Principal Research Scientist in the AGP of Rs. 9000.

Pay scale: Pay Band(PB-4) : Rs.37400- 67000/- with AGP : Rs.10,000/- Minimum Pay : Rs.43000/- + AGP +DA (at) 27%+HRA+ Other Allowances

Associate Professor:
Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. Minimum 9 years experience of which at least 3 years at the level of Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 8000.

Pay scale: Pay Band(PB-4) : Rs.37400- 67000/- with AGP : Rs.9,000/- Minimum Pay : Rs.40890/- + AGP +DA (at) 27%+HRA+ Other Allowances

Asst. Professor:
Education: Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry/ Applied Geophysics/ Applied Mathematics/ Applied Physics/ Computer Science/ Electrical Engg/ Electronics & Instrumentation

Pay scale: Rs.15600-39100/-
