Title of research project: Indigenous neurosurgical assistance platform for safer surgeries Project aims to build an indigenous neurosurgical assistance platform for safer surgeries.
Description of the job Hardware design:
Work includes development of hardware components such as Bioamplifier with specifications compatible for use in clinical environments; development of test rigs to test high voltage stimulator; interfacing of hardware with GUI.

Appointment period: 1.5 years (potentially extendable based on performance and availability of funds)
Remuneration: As per standard government norms
Essential qualification: B.Tech or MTech in a discipline related to Electronics, Computer science, Biomedical engineering or similar degrees.
Age limit: 30 years (relaxable as per applicable provisions)
Desirable: Valid GATE score, strong background in hardware development, electronics circuit and PCB design, interfacing. Understanding regulatory aspects (IEC60601-1-2) of medical device development.
