Ship Draftsman Trainee (Mechanical)

No. of positions: 48 Seats (22 UR, 11 OBC, 4 EWS, 10 SC*, 1 ST*)
*5 SC & 1 ST Backlog
Essential qualifications: Pass in SSLC and Three year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education securing minimum of 60% of marks, with flair for Draftsmanship and proficiency in CAD.

Ship Draftsman Trainee (Electrical)
No. of Seats: 14 Seats (7 UR, 3 OBC*, 1 EWS, 1 SC*, 2 ST*)
*1 OBC, 1 SC & 2 ST Backlog
Essential Qualification: Pass in SSLC and Three year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education securing minimum of 60% of marks, with flair for Draftsmanship and proficiency in CAD.

The period of training shall be for two years

The upper age limit prescribed for the seats of Ship Draftsman Trainees shall be 25 years as on 15 January 2021.
