Overview

Applications are invited for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in the Department of Civil Engineering, NIT Manipur

No. of position available: One (01)

Essential qualifications: M.Tech/ME in Civil/Chemical Engineering
Or,
Masters degree in Environmental Science or any other related field with GATE or CSIR UGC NET qualified score
Or,
B.Tech/BE in Civil/Chemical Engineering or related technical field with GATE or CSIR UGC NET qualified score
Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks (or 6.5 CGPA) (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST) in their Bachelors & Masters degree. Deserving candidates will be considered for PhD admissions at a later stage if they meet all the institute requirements.

Age limit: Must not be over 35 years as on last date of form submission (relaxable as per the norms/orders of GOI).

Civil Engineering background with Water Resources/Environmental background. Knowledge in numerical simulation with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Techniques.
