Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the DRDO-GTRE CARS Funded Project in School of Mechanical Engineering (SMEC) Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT),Tamil Nadu

Junior Research Fellow

Number of positions: One [01]

Qualification: Essential: ME/M.Tech/MS in Fluid and Thermal, Aerospace engineering, Propulsion, Computational Mechanics or related fields

Desirable:
Sound knowledge of Fluid Dynamics, Gas Turbine Theory and Heat Transfer
Strong and demonstrated experience in theoretical and numerical study of compressible flows.
Experience in hexahedral mesh generation and simulations using Ansys Fluent.
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Stipend: Rs.20,000 / pm consolidated for a period of 2 years

Sponsoring Agency: DRDO-GTRE

Duration: 2 years.
