ICRISAT seeks applications from dynamic and highly innovative young Scientists

Responsibilities:
The Scientific Officer will ensure the day-to-day smooth running of the project and keeping track record.
The Scientific Officer will be responsible for creating appropriate systems for documentation related to modern breeding strategies, improvement and implementation plans of all NARES.
The Scientific Officer would also help to create training and workshop materials for NARES.
Provide help in distribution of materials, genotyping logistics, bar-code generation, electronic data capture, support in organizing events, training programs, workshops, networking seminars to facilitate national and international partners.
Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience:
Post Graduate degree in Plant Breeding / Genetics / Molecular Biology / Biotechnology.
Skills & Knowledge: Basic knowledge of MS Office programs such as Word and Excel or related softwares.
Experience in Molecular markers, phenotyping and project management will be an added advantage.

• SALARY: Rs.25,000/- + 30% HRA
