Role : Graduate Trainee
Graduate Trainee in Cell and Molecular Biology appointment at NCBS
Candidate will closely work with the principal investigator and will be studying the role of vascular genes regulating artery remodeling in the mouse heart. Research work involves maintaining mouse colonies relevant to the project, performing surgical procedures on mice, followed by analyses of coronary vascular gene expression and function in different genetic mouse models by using various cellular and molecular techniques.
Essential Qualification & Experience required: MSc.
Number of position: 01
Contract term: The position will be for 1 year subject to a performance review after 3 months. At the end of the first year, there will be potential for extending the contract by one more year.?
Minimum % of marks: 75%
Age limit: 30 years
Salary offered: 31000 + 24% HRA
Wet Lab experience in Biology for a minimum 2 years, preferably 3-4 years Mouse handling, Tissue culture, Basic molecular biology techniques Excellent communication (written and oral) skill
