One Research Associate (RA) position is available in the ICGEB Translational Health Group for a DBT sponsored project Evolution and transmission of drug-resistance tuberculosis in Agartala, Kohima and Imphal population. Initially, this position is available for the period of five months and based on the performance of the candidate can be further extended.

Educational Qualification:
RA candidates should hold a PhD degree in Biological Sciences/Chemistry/Pharmacy.
Candidates with prior research experience in patient biofluid handling, Mycobacterium tuberculosis culture, genomic data processing, analysis of next generation sequencing (NGS) data sets and experience in any programming language will be preferred.
