Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee invites applications from outstanding and enthusiastic researchers for Post Doctoral Fellowship (PDF)

Minimum Oualification and Experience: The prospective candidate should have PhD in mechanical engineering and related engineering disciplines from a premier Institute/University with a consistent good academic record. Candidates who have recently submitted their doctoral thesis are also eligible to apply subject to the condition that they will furnish the proof of award of Ph.D. degree at the time of interview.

Duration and Fellowship amount: The duration of the fellowship will be two years, extendable by one more year. The candidate is expected to join the Department as soon as offer letter is released. The fellow will receive a consolidated fellowship of Rs.55,000/- per month, in addition a contingency grant of Rs.50,000/- per annum.
