Junior Research Fellow (Own Fellowship) (One Position)

Project: Towards improving abiotic stress tolerance in crop plants
Duration: The appointment will be initially for a period of one year
Essential qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate /Post Graduate Degree in professional course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
The selection process through National Level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc. Scholars who have their own fellowship from funding agencies like CSIR, UGC and DBT etc.
Emoluments: As per fellowship granting agency.
Responsibilities: Addressing basic plant biology questions relevant to abiotic stress in crop plants. The candidate will perform the research work related to plant molecular biology and gene function validation. The selected candidate will be encouraged for Ph.D program.
Age limit: 28 Years as on date of interview. (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC/PD as per GOI Instruction.
