The Gove ment of Ka ataka has invited online applications for the Post-Matric Scholarship 2026-27 through the State Scholarship Portal (SSP) at ssp.postmatric.ka ataka.gov.in.

This integrated portal serves students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Classes (BCWD), Minorities, and General/EWS categories pursuing PUC, ITI, Diploma, Undergraduate (BE, MBBS, B.Sc, B.Com, B.A.), and Postgraduate studies in Ka ataka.

Components of Ka ataka SSP 2026-27

• Maintenance Allowance (Vidyasiri): Monthly stipend of ₹1,500 for eligible students residing in non-departmental private hostels or rented rooms to cover food and lodging expenses.
• Fee Concession & Tuition Reimbursement: Direct reimbursement of tuition fees, laboratory fees, and exam fees directly to higher educational institutions.
• Special Incentive for First Class Degree Completion: One-time prize money grant ranging from ₹20,000 to ₹35,000 for SC/ST students who pass their respective degree exams in first class in the first attempt.

Step-by-Step SSP Application Process

1. Aadhaar Consent: Register on the SSP Portal with student and parent Aadhaar numbers.
2. KUTUMBA ID Integration: Retrieve family income, caste details, and resident data automatically through the Ka ataka Gove ment Kutumba database.
3. e-Attestation of Academic Documents: Upload marks cards and study certificates to the e-Attestation portal to be verified digitally by designated college attestation officers.
4. Final Submission: Submit the application and retain the acknowledgment receipt for college office submission.
