AICTE Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students 2026-27
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is accepting online applications for the prestigious AICTE Pragati Scholarship 2026-27. Designed to empower young women and advance female representation in technical higher education, the scheme offers 10,000 scholarships annually across India.
Scholarship Financial Assistance
Beneficiaries receive a direct grant of ₹50,000 per annum for every year of study (up to 4 years for Degree students, and up to 3 years for Diploma students). The amount is credited directly to the student’s bank account to cover college tuition fees, purchasing computers/laptops, technical books, stationeries, and educational equipment.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must be a female student admitted to the first year of a technical degree (B.E./B.Tech) or diploma program in an AICTE-approved institution during the 2026-27 academic session.
- Maximum 2 girl children per family are eligible to receive the award.
- Total annual parental income from all sources must not exceed ₹8.00 Lakh per annum. An authentic Income Certificate issued by an Executive Magistrate or Tahsildar is required.
How to Apply
Eligible candidates must register through the National Scholarship Portal (scholarships.gov.in) under the AICTE Schemes tab. Institute verification must be confirmed by the college Nodal Officer before state-level processing.
