BARC OCES / DGFS 2026 Recruitment for Scientific Officers
Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) invites engineers and science post-graduates for admission to Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Science Postgraduates (OCES) and DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme (DGFS) leading to appointment as Scientific Officer 'C' in Department of Atomic Energy units (BARC, IGCAR, RRCAT, VECC, AMD, NFC).
Programs Offered:
- OCES 2026: One-year training at BARC Training School campuses (Mumbai, Kalpakkam, Indore, Hyderabad).
- DGFS 2026: Two-year DAE Graduate Fellowship at premier IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee, BHU) and NITs leading to M.Tech degree while receiving monthly stipend.
Engineering & Science Disciplines Recruited:
Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgy, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Instrumentation, Civil Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Bioscience, and Geology.
Selection Methodology:
Screening via Online Examination conducted across India or valid GATE score, followed by rigorous in-depth technical interview at BARC Training School, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai.
