The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space, Government of India, invites online applications from dynamic, qualified engineering graduates for appointment to the prestigious post of Scientist / Engineer 'SC' (Group 'A' Gazetted) across premier space centres including URSC, VSSC, SDSC SHAR, SAC, and LPSC.

Discipline-Wise Vacancies:

• Computer Science (CS / IT): 95 Vacancies (Satellite flight software, ground telemetry, mission simulation, and orbital mechanics computation).
• Electronics & Communication (ECE): 130 Vacancies (RF systems, microwave payloads, radar systems, and onboard transponders).
• Mechanical Engineering (ME): 100 Vacancies (Launch vehicle structures, propulsion stages, cryogenic engines, and thermal protection).

Eligibility & Qualifications:

• Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech or equivalent degree in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA of 6.84/10 from an AICTE/UGC recognized university.
• Age Limit: 28 years as of the closing date. Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates as per Central Government norms.

Selection Pattern & Syllabus:

1. Written Examination: 80 Objective Multiple Choice Questions (Part A: 60 core engineering questions; Part B: 20 aptitude & reasoning questions). Duration: 120 minutes. Marking: +1 mark for correct answer, -0.33 for wrong answer.
2. Interview: Candidates scoring 50% or above in the written test are shortlisted for the technical interview in a 1:5 ratio. Final selection is based 50% on written test score and 50% on interview performance.
