Supreme Court of India: Recruitment of Junior Court Assistant (JCA) 2026

The Registry of the Supreme Court of India invites online applications for the post of Junior Court Assistant (Group 'B' Non-Gazetted post) to assist in judicial case-flow management, cause list preparation, electronic court records, and registry administration.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree of a recognized University.
Typing Speed: Minimum speed of 35 w.p.m. in English typing on computer.
Computer Knowledge: Knowledge of computer operations and office productivity suites.
Age Limit: 18 to 30 years as of closing date. Standard relaxations apply.

Scheme of Examination:

Objective Type Question Paper with multiple choice answers (100 Questions: General English, General Aptitude, General Knowledge).
Objective Type Computer Knowledge Test (25 Questions).
Typing speed test on Computer (35 w.p.m.) with permissible mistakes up to 3%.
Descriptive Test in English Language (Comprehension passage, Precis writing, and Essay).
Interview before a Court Committee of Hon'ble Judges / Registrars.
