Scheme to lessen school bags weight
Union Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar on 11th July 2017 said digitisation of schools will help lessen the burden of book/ school bag weight, Minister went on to add that Centre is going to equip schools that procure digital board and projector with software in its bid to reduce the burden of school bag from the next academic session, Government at the Delhi to bring new schemes to lessen weight of school bags.
Mr. Javadekar added, 70 Lakh teachers teach 26 Crore students in 15 Lakh schools from Class I to XII across the country, out of them 10 crore students get Mid day meal.
Through LCD screens and projectors students will get hi-tech schools to study with latest technology.
