UPSC CAPF (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2026
The Union Public Service Commission invites applications for the recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces: Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
Cadre Vacancy Breakdown:
- CRPF: 120 Posts
- BSF: 186 Posts
- CISF: 100 Posts
- ITBP: 58 Posts
- SSB: 42 Posts
Eligibility & Qualifications:
- Candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India. Both Male and Female candidates are eligible.
- Age Limit: 20 to 25 years. Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC.
- Physical Efficiency Standards: 100m race, 800m race, Long Jump, and Shot Put as per prescribed gender standards.
