UPSC National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (I) 2026

UPSC announces the recruitment entrance examination for male and female candidates seeking a career as Commissioned Officers in the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the prestigious National Defence Academy (Khadakwasla, Pune) and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme of Indian Naval Academy.

Eligibility Criteria:

Army Wing of NDA: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 patte of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA & 10+2 Cadet Entry: 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of the 10+2 patte of School Education.
Age Limit: Only unmarried candidates bo not earlier than 2nd July 2007 and not later than 1st July 2010 are eligible.

Examination Structure:

Mathematics: 300 Marks (2.5 Hours) covering Algebra, Matrices, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Statistics.
General Ability Test (GAT): 600 Marks (2.5 Hours) covering English (200 Marks) and General Knowledge (400 Marks).
SSB Testing: 900 Marks evaluation by Services Selection Board.
